Vehicles shipped out of a US port that originate in Canada are required to be shipped through the US under a Transportation & Exportation Bond (T&E Bond). Similarly, vehicles arriving at US ports destined for Canada are also required to be shipped through the US under a T&E Bond.   This requirement is necessary since the vehicles will not be clearing US customs into US commerce. Typical destinations for these vehicles outbound are Europe, Australia and West Africa.
