Unlike some of our shorter cross-border routes, there’s no practical way to self-drive a vehicle from Los Angeles to the Canadian border — the distance to the nearest crossing is roughly 1,100+ miles depending on destination. Instead, your vehicle travels the full route by professional carrier, and we manage every part of the trip:

1. Pickup at your location. We come to you anywhere in the LA metro area — your home, office, or a location that works for your schedule. No need to drive to a terminal or drop-off yard.
2. Route and carrier assignment. Your vehicle is matched to a carrier already running the LA-to-Canada corridor most relevant to your destination (I-5 north for Vancouver/BC, cross-country routes for Ontario, Quebec, and the Prairies, or the southern/central routes for Atlantic Canada).
3. Customs and border documentation. We prepare and handle the export paperwork required to cross into Canada, so you’re not dealing with border logistics yourself.
4. Delivery to your destination. Door-to-door delivery on the Canadian side as well, subject to accessibility at the delivery address.

Do you pick up from anywhere in the LA area, or just specific neighborhoods? We offer door-to-door pickup across the greater Los Angeles area, including Orange County, the San Fernando Valley, and the Inland Empire. There’s no need to bring your vehicle to a terminal.

Why don’t more people ship from LA to Vancouver, if it’s your cheapest route? Distance is actually working against us here in a different way — Vancouver is close enough to LA that many people choose to drive the vehicle themselves rather than ship it. Our most-shipped LA-Canada routes are actually the longer ones: Toronto, Quebec City, and Montreal, where self-driving isn’t a realistic option.

Why does shipping to Atlantic Canada cost more than shipping to Toronto? Distance. Routes to Halifax, Saint John, Moncton, and other Atlantic Canada destinations cover significantly more ground than routes to Ontario or BC, which is reflected in the pricing.

Can I drive my own car to the border instead of using a carrier? Not practically from Los Angeles — the nearest crossing is over 1,100 miles away. All of our LA-Canada routes are handled by professional carrier for the full distance.

Will my pickup or delivery happen during rush hour? Probably not, if we can help it. Truck drivers generally avoid heavy traffic when possible, so pickups and deliveries in the LA area are often scheduled for early morning or evening hours, after traffic has died down. This isn’t a guarantee — timing depends on the driver’s route that day — but it’s the general pattern you can expect.

   I recently used US Canada Auto Transport to ship my car from Orlando, FL, USA to Ontario, Canada. Overall experience was good & car was delivered safely to warehouse with no damage. One thing I need to appreciate was that all the required paperwork & documentation were handled by them which made process easy. Remaining was to fill Form 1 & visit warehouse to collect the car.Pricing was competitive & affordable when compared to other companies for this cross-border car shipping.Only downside was communication regarding delivery date. Driver did not contact before the delivery for car to warehouse. instead, I received a call around Friday noon for car pickup. This created urgency because if I had been unable to collect my car on Friday, I would have been responsible to warehouse storage fees from Friday to Monday which were CAD 220 per day.Despite the communication issue, I am happy, as my car arrived safely, documentation was smooth & price was great. I would definitely recommend US Canada auto transport for their overall service. I would suggest they improve advance notification & coordination before vehicle delivery to warehouse.

   I actually had a great experience with US Canada Auto Transport. After the initial inquiry, I had a designated contact, Chinoso, who took care to make sure I had all my paperwork in order for the transport, and handled the logistics. Communication was good, the vehicle was picked up in a timely fashion, and got delivered to my door, undamaged and safely, for the agreed upon amount, without a hiccup.One thing I did do was enlist the help of a Customs Broker, Border Buddy, which was totally worth it. They handled the paperwork to export the vehicle from the US, and import it in Canada, and paid the duties on my behalf. Not having to physically go to the border or deal with importation personally was a huge value. Border Buddy and US Canada Auto Transport worked well together and made it very easy for me.If I ever import a vehicle again, I'll use both services as I was perfectly happy with both.Many thanks to all involved!    I recently used US Canada Auto Transport to relocate my US vehicle from Quebec Canada to California. The process was absolutely seamless. This company knows their business. I literally did nothing but sign the contract. They handled customs - no issues there, not one. The delivery driver gave us plenty of notice ahead of the pick up and delivery. It took about 2 weeks. The vehicle was in great shape. As for Julia, my contact person, be advised that she may come across as “no nonsense” but it’s because she knows her stuff. Trust her. The transport fee was the lowest price out of 5 companies I contacted. I highly recommend this company!

   I worked with Julia to ship my Tesla Model 3 from San Francisco to Toronto. She took care of everything and provided me all the information regarding documentation, customs process and the delivery step.I chose US Canada Auto Transport as they were the only shipping company that allowed me to ship personal items of 100 lbs and reasonable with their price compared to the others.My car was picked on Oct 4 and I received the car in Toronto on Oct 17 (there was a long weekend on 14th Oct here in Canada).Julia communicated about the car delivery a day before it was delivered and I got a call on the day of delivery too. I picked the car from Stream Logistics on Oct 17 at the bonded warehouse in Mississauga. It was a real smooth process, hardly took 25-30 minutes including Customs process at CBSA office.    I worked with Dion and his team at US Canada Transport to import my daughter's 2023 Volvo from Vancouver, Canada to Orlando, FL. They were very professional and provided excellent service on a timely basis. They were very responsive to my many questions and made arrangements so we could drop the car at a depot in Vancouver at our convenience. From there, they took care of the shipping and all of the dealings with customs to get the car across the border all for one price. There were no hidden costs, the price that we were quoted was the price we paid. The delivery of the car went smoothly as well as the transport driver kept us informed of the expected delivery date and then provided a delivery time window on the delivery day. We had good experience with US Canada transport and would recommend them for cross-border shipping of vehicles

This is a template pattern, not a one-off — the “How It Works” section, the border-crossings section (destination-driven instead of origin-driven), and the pricing-table intro line are things every non-adjacent US city (Phoenix, Vegas, Miami, etc.) will need written the same way: real distance/transit commentary and real crossing/route data, not reworded copy. Border-adjacent cities (Buffalo, Detroit) would keep something closer to Toronto’s self-drive framing instead.
